Welcome to Forza Health!
Will and I decided to begin this blog in an effort to provide you with tips, strategies and information to allow you to optimise your body’s performance. Whether this means; managing an injury in the best manner possible to minimise your time on the sideline, to putting in that extra one percent through mobility drills to give you the edge on the field or in day-to-day life.
Over time, we hope this blog can serve as a library, full of useful resources which you can refer to, not only when released, but into the future should an issue arise. Content will vary greatly including:
- Cheat Sheets – Let’s say you roll your ankle and want to know the best way to manage the sprain to get you back on the field in the shortest time possible. This section provides bite-sized information packages which you can quickly read through rather than sifting through Google looking for answers.
- Physiotherapy – In here you’ll find current evidence-based practices for conditions, mobility exercises, self-management strategies to just name a few.
- Strength Training – My domain! This part of the blog focuses on strength and conditioning and will include; programs, nutrition advice and tips to boost performance.
- Finally, there will be posts that don’t quite fit into the above categories, or are just all together random.
Of course, if there are any topics which you would like discussed, please let us know and we’ll do our best to address it. We want to create an interactive environment whereby our readers (you!) comment and discuss the topics in the comment sections below the posts. We hope this will foster a community of like-minded people not only striving to better themselves but also helping others to do the same.
